Want to...

...try again with the spelling? Try using Get Recommended if spelling/typing is not your thing!

Scutellaria galericulata

There is no need to be patronising because of one letter lost in a typo. Get Recommended did not come up with anything after several minutes. Why not type in what you think it is?

Patronising?

Didn't want to jump in and pinch your ID! Common name was mis-spelled as well. Sorry you took it the wrong way.

Scutellaria galericulata

The correct spelling of the name is Scutellaria galericulata, add a revised identification and your observation will link with others of the same species,

Steve.

Well, if none of you are going to do it...

...I will!

It's often hard to achieve the right "tone" when using only text - I often get this wrong myself. (What was I? "Confrontational and aggressive", I believe! But I'm so nice!)

But we are all here to help each other, and to learn, so there is no shame in admitting to a minor speeling mistook.

As Steve points out, the way iSpot works is to link together Obs of the same species, so you can see "your" plant in diffent locales, situations, times of year etc.

The system can't do that if you've inadvertently spelled (spelt?) it wrongly.

Get recommended is a bit touchy - you have to try a few times, sometimes, to get the right combination.

It's worth persevering with it.

And your photos are really nice, by the way, what a sweet little flower!
