Description:

There were hundreds of these spiders hanging in a huge web among trees alongside the path.
They were on average 6-7 inches including legs.
The locals told me they were 'dangerous' but could not give me a name for them.

Spider

Probably a species of either Nephila or Argiope. Probably not that dangerous, unless you are a fly!
