Description:

Looked like a large helophilus pendulus with beige rather than yellow markings on abdomen... more than one present. In disused quarry plants present Ragwort, Daisies, Sedge and coltsfoot etc.

Face

This is trivittatus, as the facial stripe is pale. I think Roger must have looked at the antenna and mistaken it for a facial stripe! ;)
