Maybe an Essex skipper
The Essex is spreading North, and the NBN map shows it may be in the York area. Unfortunately, it's the underside of the antennae that seems be the best distinguishing feature, not really visible here.
Edit: don't think it's a "Large" - there is no distinctive "mottling" on the wings. But I'm no expert.
