I think there are at least

I think there are at least three British species in this genus (only 2 are listed in Southwood and Leston).

going on size alone 3.5 put me to paykulli, I see the other 2 are 5mm, thankyou for your help , regards keith.

Hi Keith - this looks good for M. paykulli - although the base of the antenna do not appear as dark as they should according to this.. http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Miridae/Macrotylus_paykulli.html
