An impressive beetle. Out of interest, how big is it?
Not sure on exact size of this one in the photo...this species is 12-16mm. I do know this was one of the larger i've come across, so i expect its approx 16mm.
If shape of head clearly visible, it's no big deal to tell apart.
T. morsitans: Elytra a bit longer in relation to pronotum, the latter distinctly more shining.
