Classifications

I do wish names didn't change!

I read that it started off as Betonica officinalis when first named by Carl l Linnaeus, then was later reclassified as Stachys officinalis- but was then reclassified again in Stace's 3rd Edition (2010) as Betonica officinalis, it's original name. I had a quick look on the BSBI website too.

Best wishes-Hilary.
