Description:

These ermine-like moths seem to be popping up all over Dorset at the moment. They are said to be either local or migrants, and feed on Common Gromwell - which isn't very common in this area. So are they migrants? Not noticeably more on the coast, and no great wave of moth migrants despite the heat. A mystery.
