It is likely to be feral, possibly a winged bird.
Probably now big enough a feral population in GB to count as self-sustaining. Presumably originate from birds injured by wildfowlers, cowboy shooters and predators, plus a sizeable number escaping from captivity. Have a browse of the new Bird Atlas when it comes out in August...
