Very impressed with your photos, both from the clarity and the views which help ID. Your observation helped me identify the same plant which I photographed with an iPhone. I went back to it after seeing your photos to try to improve mine. I suspect however that your equipment and skill is superior to mine! I'd be interested to know what you use - please don't say iPhone!
I think that some of the nicest images on iSpot are thanks to Chris Brooks!
It's really good to have pictures taken by somebody that knows the key features needed to ID and shows them whereever possible.
Thanks Chris :)
Thank you both for your kind comments. When taking images I try and take pictures of all parts of the plants i.e. flowers, sepals if appropriate, stem and leaves etc. I find it so much easier to ID plants when I get home, instead of reading the sepals are pointed or rounded and I haven't got the images to prove one way or the other.
I use a Nikon D7100 and a 105 mm VR Nikon macro lens.
