Found covering a dead stump of a tree left behind after being felled.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Thanks all!

I've added the id as 'it might be this' as I got the scientific name through the 'get recommended' button and I'm never massively sure with fungus. Occasionally I think I know one and then find out that the generic name I know applies to two or three different species that can only be separated under the microscope. Thanks again!
