...but wouldn't like to be sure on the species from this picture. It doesn't look quite right to me for errans - too much spotting on the wings. It's possible this is a dark epilobii instead.

Thanks. Yes, I wasn't quite sure about errans; went with the green spotty legs.
Put in a wider context, I have been looking at the developing Hogweed inflorescence as a mini-habitat that might just be of interest to students: showing up so far - this and other bugs (and nymphs), aphids and some small wasps.
