a very small fly-like insect - with unusual body and legs- just by Ellerburn Banks Nature Reserve which is a wonderful grass/flower filled limestone bank.

Is the insect high up on the grass stem because it has been attacked by a fungus and this position will enable the spores to be easily blown away on the wind? I don't know what the insect is.
