Also probably the most difficult non native plant in the UK to eradicate.
I'm not sure this is entirely true and its hybrid F. x bohemica is much more common than people appreciate.
Indeed this plant could easily be F. x bohemica the leaves are not as cleanly truncate as in true F. japonica.
