Bluet

As a matter of interest Bruce, where has the term "Bluet" come from, it sounds American.

A great ID

What a good ID you made Chris. I was puzzling over it for ages - and then came down on the wrong one! These females are not easy, are they?

I don't know where the term "bluet" comes from. In Dijkstra E.cyathigerum is listed as an "American" Bluet, so I guess the name is of American origin. The term bluet in USA,apparently, means Quaker ladies, or a plant species with blue flowers. Maybe that is where it has come from.
