In damp-ish mixed woodland, about 1m tall. I think it might be Star Sedge, but not at all sure. I'm looking for correction or agreement.

I have posted a previous Carex otrubae, but this, as before, puzzled me considerably.
I had to have a go, because my wife's initials have led to her nickname of "Sedge": she expects me to put a name to anything with triangular stems as a mark of my devotion!
... Carex otrubae and Carex spicata look very different. It turns out that if you look at an infructescence in isolation it's not so obvious. I went on the stout stalk, but the spikelets are bigger as well. (I've been trying to get an in-focus photo of my only known Carex spicata, so I have out-of-focus photos to compare.)
