Confidence: It might be this.
Notes: ID based on the presence of a "small but distinct pale spot at the arculus" (Barnard and Ross 2012). That and the forewing of 12mm fitting in the size range of 10-15mm. L. bipunctatus has the correct "darkly mottled fore wing" but no distinct pale spot. The spot seems to suggest ignavus. Found in the garden, there are no streams or ponds in the area, I dont know where my garden caddisflies come from.
