Grey Field Slug (Deroceras (Deroceras) reticulatum)
Description:

On wet paving slab outside isolated building. A medium-sized slug with no obvious keel. Tail tapering gradually to a point.
On http://www.field-studies-council.org/media/706528/aidgap_slugs_key_test_... seems to key out as Ambigplimax nyctelia but I harbour some doubts.
Edit: photo added - don't know what happened to it first time round.
Edit: changed to match Steve's ID. Many thanks.

Ian I have never knowingly

Ian

I have never knowingly seen A.nyctelia, so I am no expert on this species. However, many thanks for a very useful link to the AIDGAP slug test key. My ancient 1980s version lacks half the modern species!

Cheers, Steve
