Common blue damselfly (Enallagma cyathigerum) resting on Ragged robin (Silene flos-cuculi)
Description:

Bright blue damselfly with all blue segments 8 and 9, black button mushroom shaped mark on S2, wide black stripes on dorsal thorax. Hundreds of these seeking mates in a damp traditional flower meadow.
