Description:

this bee was sunning itself on a wooden sleeper. It had a very longue tongue which was extended and pointed backwards beneath its head

this bee does not have the

this bee does not have the pale yellowish legs and long antenna of Halictus tumulorum when you look at the description on BWARS.

I really am struggling with the ,many solitary bees im finding.

Sexes

The description of the long antennae and yellow legs are only applicable to the male of the species, this is a female.
