Back garden safari.
Observed feeding on a cistus plant in an urban South Wales garden.
Not at all all sure if I'm right, so any corrections appreciated.
No interactions present.
Never really appreciated aphids before now, and your correction has insipid me to look deeper. I have to admit to another mistake, the plant isotentilla fruticosa, not Cistus - stupid mistake.
I've found a great site that lists aphids based on the host plants, and then follows it up with descriptions of the aphids themselves. Based on this I can now defiantly follow the key, and these chaps are likely to be Macrosiphum rosea as you were good enough to correct me
I did think they looked like M rosae even without knowing whether they were actually on a host plant.
