Have had brimstone earlier but don't think these ones are
No identification made yet.
No interactions present.
I agree that these don't look like eggs of Brimstone butterfly (which normally lays its eggs singly as far as I know), but I'm afraid I'm not sure what else they might be. There are several moths that feed on buckthorn, or it could be another type of insect altogether.
The curved shape seems distinctive but it's not one I recognise, sorry!
