Azalea Leaf Gall Fungus?

A strange 'overgrowth' of garden Azalea leaves apparently caused by a fungus. May affect many varieties of Rhododendron....if I have identified it correctly!!

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
