Riley and Prior (British and

Riley and Prior (British and Irish Pug Moths) also indicate that in E. linariata the dark basal mark on the forewing is incomplete and only constitutes a small bar on the costa. This specimen has a complete basal mark which further supports the conclusion that it is E pulchellata.
