Confidence: It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain.
Notes: Not quite as easy as I thought it would be when I photographed it. It has a neat apearance to the cross bands and the colours are clear and distinctive but the Toadflax Pug is supposed to emerge later and the forewing measureement of this specimen was 22 mm from tip to tip. However, to swing the identification back the other way the outer edge of the grey cross band appears to me to be curved rather than kinked near the leading edge. Guidance on this one will be welcome.
