ive re-submitted with expanded newer photo. it had at least 2 wings and was c.40mm across leg-span.
No interactions present.
Difficult angle but my initial thought was Nephrotoma croccata - a cranefly. But, the angles are not good.

I think possibly a tiger cranefly - did it have a slightly pointed tail?
