Description:

Sorry to post same species again but this one found in my garden yesterday and as these are quite important records for Pembs would be great to get my ID confirmed! Not quite as bright colouring as the specimen I found on tuesday - thorax has less hairs but distinctive colours still clear. looks to be female with very shiny hairless hind tibia.

Gosh!

Headlines, indeed! Strangely enough had a txt from my friend in Scotland, also a keen bee spotter to say she'd never seen hypnorum cos 'we don't get them here (yet)!'. Will have to put her right and send her the news! Have sent these 2 records into BWARS via the online system - very easy to use!
