Description:

I'm not convinced this is Small Tort., as it hasn't got the yellowish stripes, but I guess the larvae look different at different stages of development. While the pattern is very close to Peacock, this caterpillar has tufts of downy hair which I haven't seen on any other images of Peacock larvae - you might need to view large to see that. I'm interested to get people's opinions.

I initially thought Peacock

I initially thought Peacock too, but all the images of Peacock that I checked against lacked the hairy tufts, so I wasn't convinced.
