This is a juvenile badger - it hasn't got the distinctive sagittal crest yet. Also because the skull is sub-adult, the mandibles have parted company from the upper part of the skull. The other features that nail this identification are the size, shape and appearance of the back molars (the only teeth left in the skull!) and the shape of the tympanic bullae, the 'ear drums'.
