Grubs found it pot

Description:

Found over a dozen of these white grubs when I removed spent tulips from a pot in my garden. I'm happy to encourage wildlife but what are they? I put them all back in as I repotted the pot up.

Look like vine weevil grubs

Look like vine weevil grubs to me - I find them in my fuchsia pots - not good for my fuchsias.

Yes, they have legs so they can't be vine weevil larvae and they have round spiracles so they're not stag beetle larvae. So really they must be chafer larvae.
