Description:

At Brandon Marsh nature reserve - muddy bank on inland water with reed beds nearby. A fair distance away, so photos not too sharp, but I think I can see a white stripe above the dark forehead band. When flying, they looked brown above, without a wing bar. Flight reminded me of swallows - very fast and swooping. They ran very fast on land, like mice! Hard to track with binoculars or camera. New birds for me.

Little Ringed Plover

Another good spot and with some excellent description of behaviour which can be crucial and people (including myself) often forget. The clincher with a good view is I think the orange eye ring clealry visible on the second picture.
