The little guy in photo 1 is one of two cubs born this year to the pair living at the bottom of next door’s garden. The two cubs could not be more different in temperament. This one is very independent, plays on its own almost exclusively and is into exploring everything, The other is a fair bit smaller and remains glued to mum, almost walking to heal like a dog at Crufts not taking its eyes of mum.
Independent it may be but it’s not beyond begging some regurgitated food from dad, shown in the rest of the sequence.
I’m really pleased with photo one, taken in the late evening on the ‘Hi’ ISO setting and hand held. The others were also taken in poor light on the same setting but very early the following morning. (I’ve gone with the date from pic 1.)
