Those at Woodwalton were most uncooperative,preferring the Lily-pads in the Great Ravely Drain to the more accessible perching places other species were using.
I find that while maturing they stay on accessible vegetation but get to a certain date and they all migrate to the water. So you need to catch them early in the season really.
