Bat babies

Welcome to iSpot.

I really can not say what species I'm afraid. Could you photograph the droppings with a scale please, it could help.

Poor things! Are they alive or dead?

Thank you. We have added

Thank you.

We have added another photo with droppings, although there is no scale I am afraid. We think they were about 6-7mm.

They were alive under a large slat box so we placed them back inside.

There is a large colony in the box, as approximately 50 adults were counted flying out of it.

I would like to suggest that

I would like to suggest that you do not handle any bats with bare hands. Any species may carry rabies, although this is highly unlikely, better safe than sorry.
