Description:

Found amongst algae collected from deep gulley at low water and spotted through x10 field scope. Notably different from 2 other stalked jellies found in same gulley - see next record, and unlike any other I have seen most of which were H auricula, notably the anchors - see below.

Goodness Paula - that's asking a lot (for an agreement!).
The algae though - I think it might be Lomentaria clavellosa

Mine (see NEAtlantic Seaweeds) is pale but distinctive.
