undet pupa on Plantago lanceolata 12 Jun 2013 12-003
Description:

It looks as though this is the pupa of an insect that mined the lead of Plantago lanceolata to which it was attached, but there is that big hole between the mined tip of the leaf and where the pupa settled. I tried t find other examples of this nearby in the meadow to see if the pattern was repeated, but I could not find any.
