Spotted on a Sambuca Nigra - a dozen or so of these small green bugs/larvae. Approx 15mm in length.
No interactions present.
Amazing! These look like some exciting lepidoptera, but I tried Festoon - they have a double yellow line. Then hairstreaks - they don;t have the little tail.
So I think you probably have hoverfly larvae (or maybe even pupae!) of some sort. Would be worth rearing them.

After you said they were likely to be hoverfly larvae I narrowed my search and found some the same online identified as Epistrophe sp.
I'm new to this and have never reared any before but it would be very interesting to do so.

Yes Have a go it has a few glitches and will very much depend on what Tags you select and what tags users add
