Again, this was in our garden and we are struggling to find it in our guide. If someone could help with the name, many thanks.

    Dichrorampha alpinana/flavidorsana
    Confidence: It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain.

Thanks. From what I have


From what I have read, D. alpinana is most likely due to the fact we have loads of Ox-eye Daisy in the garden but no Tansy (food source for the larvae of D.flavidorsana).

Also, the dorsal blob on ours seems quite broad which also would suggest D.alpinana.

Are the above good enough reasons to record it as D.alpinana?

you are familiar enough with both species to be confident of your interpretations that would probably be enough.
