Description:

This beautiful bellflower made a stunning sight growing on a south facing wall in Ventnor.An established alien species on the Isle of Wight where it grows on walls and in churchyards. First recorded in 1970's but has been grown as a pot plant since Victorian times,so likely to be established much earlier than 1970.
