Ranunculus flammula and Ranunculus lingua ...

... are easily distinguished by size, but in the absence of any scale I can't discriminate based on this photograph (someone else may be able to do better).

I'll try and do another pic tomorrow with some scale. It's not always the first thing on my mind when walking the dog... Thanks

You don't necessarily need a picture to indicate the scale ...

... Ranunculus flammula has flowers about the size of the common buttercups, while Ranunculus lingua flowers are twice that size. A bit of relevant textual description would do as well - perhaps even better - than a photograph.
