One day, a book to Tipulidae will appear, but it seems to be hung up on potential English names at the moment. Best thing to do is join Dipterists Forum and so get access to their unpublished Test Keys.

looks like it comes down to number of segments on the antennae, but I don't think the image is of high enough quality to allow these to be counted.
