This 2.5 cm approx beetle was seen in the Burren National Park, Co. Clare, Ireland, crawling in Mountain avens, and resting for a short while on this piece of limestone, in an open grassy area punctuated with rocks. It appears to have small bristles on its wing cases, which are iridescent green. The wings beneath are black.
