Most British Dandelions produce seed that is genetically identical to the parent - this means they are effectively clones. This means they do not cross fertilise. So there are hundreds of "microspecies". There are specialists that can id them but most people would put a record of Taraxacum officianale agg unless they had good reason to identify to species. "agg" is short for aggregate - this is a recogntion that there are a number of similar/closely related plants that it could be
