Remember seeing these larvae

Remember seeing these larvae (and the adult beetles) on the coast path in the Goodrington/Brixham area years ago when on holidays. Larvae always on Hedge Bedstraw. Never found out what they were until years later.

This is a first...

This is a first for me; I have never seen these lavae before, but this year they seem to be plentiful.
