Images 3 and 4 are probably showing members of the same species as the mating pair. Individuals would repeatedly alight on these shiny ivy leaves, but only for short periods, and I was initially hard put to say if was looking at Hymenopterans or Dipterans.

Species.

The top two pictures are a species of Hylaeus. The bottom two pictures are a species of solitary wasp - Crossocerus sp.
