57 varieties?

I agree that this isn't a pure Snow Goose, and it is some sort of hybrid.
There could be Snow Goose genes in the mix, but like Kluut says, it's very difficult to be sure of the parentage of birds like these -sometimes they show features that neither parent species does!
As for calling it a 'Heinz Goose', I guess hybrids like these do come in all sorts of different varieties!

Common names

I am sure there are dozens of common names for animals of indeterminate ancestry - I've always used Heinz (57 varieties), another name from my home town is bitzer - bits o' this and bits o' that.
