Description:

looked similar and behaved similar to hairy footed flower bee but was much more red / gingery in colour. very fast flying and difficult to photograph

This could even be A. plumipes. There are 2 colour forms in southern Iberia.

Thanks. I did wonder if it was an unusually ginger colour form of hairy footed flower bee which im familiar with. It was just so red it had me stumped.
