Common or tailless tenrec

The only tenrec (or hedgehog looking mammal) found on Mauritius.

These are weird creatures they have a cloaca similar to birds and reptiles; also their body temperature is much lower than other mammals.

Unusual or unique?

Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenrec#Characteristics says:

"Unusual among placental mammals, the anus and urogenital tracts of tenrecs share a common opening, or cloaca, a feature more commonly seen in birds, reptiles, and amphibians."

Note "Unusual" --- Is this condition indeed "unusual" among placental mammals, or unique among placental mammals? If not unique, what other groups of mammals have a cloaca?
