Isn't it brilliant that we can now see these 'top gun' pilots of the bird world in the middle of towns. I remember, alongside friends, stumbling across my first nest site around 1986 - it was a long way from anywhere, off in the Pennine uplands. Last year I found a pair on a lowland urban power station - how times have changed for this fantatsic bird.
How true! You can sit in the cathedral cafe and watch the nest site of these birds on high-definition TV; marvellous but somehow it seems like cheating. Hence my low definition photos!
