Can anyone identify this moth which was in my converted loft?
No interactions present.
...a fish - might want to move this to invertebrates, edit and choose inverts
If you switch to the 2nd ID & then back Cathal, this'll change to inverts
Im not really sure how that works. Ive done as you suggest and its still in fish? Am I doing something wrong?
Could you just do the 1st part & then let me know, Eg remove agreement from the 1st ID & then add your agreement to mine? as I can't see how that wouldn't change The likely ID to the 2nd ID, at which point it should switch to invertebrates
Eg it worked for me in spongillides http://www.ispotnature.org/node/150747 & tawny mining bee http://www.ispotnature.org/node/30193
But it's important for me to see it if it's not working in this case
Ok thats done Chris......
I couldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. How's it possible that the 2nd ID hasn't become likely. How is this different from spongillidae, where my repeating the exact Id made mine likely & switched to inverts? . Likewise http://www.ispotnature.org/node/416519 which was a fish but I again added the identical ID & Chrisbrooks used it to switch to inverts.
Perhaps leave it for now & report it as a bug. (the only possibiity I can imagine is it's because Douglas has no reputation at all in fish
It's now in 'report problems' forum, http://www.ispotnature.org/node/717323
OK Chris, hopefully it will be resolved.
Though I've still no Idea how you & Tony did it
This was already sorted Graham, (ie switched to an invert) when I commented above (somehow, by cathal or Tony Rebelo or both, see forum link above).
So hopefully when you got here it still was an invert (I can't remember if Cathal's agreement was with mine or not then).
Assuming it was still an invert, what should really happen after the switch is for all agreements to be removed from the 'only added to switch' ID & returned to the 1st ID,or added to it if you agree with it.
Then by all logic & touch wood it will still be invertebrate.
THE THEORY is that since recently , when an added ID becomes the likely ID if, it's a different group the group is switched & the ID's recalculated for that group to give the new likely ID. This didn't use to happen, eg http://www.ispotnature.org/node/120786
But there's still Cathall's Dace needs fixing Graham, at http://www.ispotnature.org/node/283477 & I see you've already agreed to the corrected ID, but still need to remove your agreement to the 1st incorrect one.
Likewise Cathal if you switched your agreement to the last ID in http://www.ispotnature.org/node/120786 it'd help to switch it to inverts (& Graham)
on both. Chris - going back to the last entry still appears as a fish for the whelk. You may need others to move too? The link for the dace is a dab and I guess this is the one you meant?
That whelk reminds me, Cathal- if you could shift your agreement to the bottom one for that whelk, http://www.ispotnature.org/node/120786 it'd make a big difference; I'll also need to get in touch with Nick Upton who also did a double agreement on that whelk, & martinjohnbishop who did one on the goose barnacle http://www.ispotnature.org/node/238597 .
This is all very encouraging. (but also could you remove your agreements to my ID here, as it's actually John Bratton's so any agreements belong there)
