I have to admit I had discounted orientale as Stace states the petals are >6mm, much longer than those on this plant, and the pod length is shorter than the 'normal' range given in Stace (5-12cm), though it falls within the extended range given(2.5-12cm).

The plants were growing through cracks in concrete so were particularly small specimens which probably explains the measurements, and the fruits may not have grown fully yet.
